A simple and healthy taco recipe for your dog.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped zucchini
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper (any color)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1/4 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt

Instructions

  1. Cook ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add water, carrots, zucchini, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in olive oil and brown rice. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  4. Let the mixture cool completely.
  5. Serve a portion of the mixture topped with a tablespoon of plain yogurt.

Notes

  • Store any leftover taco meat in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • You can substitute ground chicken or lean beef for the ground turkey.
  • Ensure all vegetables are finely chopped to prevent choking hazards.
