Simple, healthy bites for your dog made with sardines and rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (4.375 oz) sardines in water, drained
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mash the drained sardines with a fork.
  3. Add the cooked rice, beaten egg, and whole wheat flour to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden.
  7. Let the bites cool completely before serving to your dog.

Notes

  • Store leftover bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Adjust the amount of flour if the mixture is too wet.
