- 1 can (4.375 oz) sardines in water, drained
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mash the drained sardines with a fork.
- Add the cooked rice, beaten egg, and whole wheat flour to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden.
- Let the bites cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Store leftover bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Adjust the amount of flour if the mixture is too wet.
