Simple, healthy rice and vegetable balls for your dog.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 cup cooked, mashed sweet potato
  • 1/4 cup cooked, finely chopped carrots
  • 1/4 cup cooked, finely chopped green beans
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cooked brown rice, mashed sweet potato, chopped carrots, and chopped green beans.
  2. Add the unsweetened applesauce and flaxseed meal to the bowl.
  3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
  5. Serve one or two balls as a treat or supplement to your dog’s regular meal.
  6. Store any remaining balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • Ensure all vegetables are cooked and cooled before mixing.
  • Do not add any salt, sugar, or spices to the mixture.
  • Consult your veterinarian before introducing new foods to your dog’s diet.
