  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (plain, not pie filling)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for gluten-free)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, applesauce, and eggs. Mix well.
  3. Stir in cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a thick dough forms.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly with a spoon.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden.
  7. Let the bites cool completely before serving to your dog.
