Easy and healthy Pumpkin Cheese Dog Treats made with real pumpkin and cheddar. Perfect for summer snacking or training rewards.

Ingredients

1 cup pumpkin purée (unsweetened)

3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 large egg

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1/4 cup rolled oats (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

23 tbsp water (as needed)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.

2. Mix pumpkin purée, egg, and olive oil until smooth.

3. Add flour, cheese, and oats (if using). Mix to form dough.

4. Add water gradually if needed. Dough should be soft but not sticky.

5. Roll out dough and cut into desired shapes.

6. Place on baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until firm and golden.

7. Cool completely before serving or storing.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks or freeze for 3 months.
