A simple, healthy, and complete meal for your dog made in one pot.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 cup cooked peas
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken thighs and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Add chopped carrots and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in cooked brown rice and peas.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and carrots are tender.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
  8. Let cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • You can substitute chicken breast for thighs if preferred.
  • Ensure all ingredients are plain and free of added salt, sugar, or spices.
