Simple homemade oatmeal and cranberry cookies for your dog.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine rolled oats, whole wheat flour, and chopped dried cranberries.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together unsweetened applesauce, peanut butter, and water until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a stiff dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Flatten each ball slightly with your palm.
  6. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your dog.

Notes

  • Store cooled cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Ensure peanut butter does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
