- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons water
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine rolled oats, whole wheat flour, and chopped dried cranberries.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together unsweetened applesauce, peanut butter, and water until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a stiff dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Flatten each ball slightly with your palm.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Store cooled cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Ensure peanut butter does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
