- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin tin or line with mini muffin liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, cinnamon, and baking soda.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the unsweetened applesauce, water, and vegetable oil.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool completely before serving them to your dog.
