A simple and nutritious stew made with lamb and rice, suitable for dogs.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 cup white rice, uncooked
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped green beans
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground lamb in a large pot over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the uncooked white rice and water to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chopped carrots and green beans. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and rice is cooked.
  4. Add the chopped spinach and stir until wilted, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Let the stew cool completely before serving to your dog.

Notes

  • Ensure all ingredients are plain and free from added salt, spices, or onions, which can be harmful to dogs.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
