Wholesome, protein-packed homemade chicken meatballs for dogs — easy to make, summer-friendly, and full of nutrients.

Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1/2 cup rolled oats

1 egg

1/4 cup grated carrot

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp ground flaxseed

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

3. Scoop out tablespoon portions and roll into meatballs.

4. Place meatballs on the tray evenly spaced.

5. Bake for 20–25 minutes until firm and lightly golden.

6. Cool completely before serving.

7. Store in fridge or freezer.

Notes

Always use xylitol-free, dog-safe ingredients.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
