- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint, finely chopped
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
- Add the peanut butter and water to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and mint.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut out shapes using cookie cutters.
- Place the treats on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Let the treats cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Store treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Always ensure peanut butter is xylitol-free, as xylitol is toxic to dogs.
