Easy homemade peanut butter donuts for your dog.

- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt (for frosting)
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (for frosting)
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, vegetable oil, and water until smooth.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- Cut out donut shapes using a donut cutter or two round cutters of different sizes.
- Place the donuts on the prepared donut pan.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Let the donuts cool completely on a wire rack.
- For the frosting, mix the plain yogurt and 1 tablespoon of peanut butter until smooth.
- Frost the cooled donuts with the yogurt mixture.
Notes
- Ensure the peanut butter you use does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
- Store leftover donuts in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
