- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup pumpkin puree (plain, not pie filling)
- 1/2 cup cooked brown rice
- 1/2 cup cooked peas
- 1/4 cup chopped carrots
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- Place chicken breast in the crockpot.
- Add pumpkin puree, brown rice, peas, and carrots.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with parsley.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken and shred it.
- Return shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to combine.
- Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- You can substitute sweet potato for pumpkin if your dog prefers.
