Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  2. In a medium bowl, combine rolled oats, whole wheat flour, and chopped dried cranberries.
  3. Add unsweetened applesauce, peanut butter, and water to the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix until a thick dough forms.
  5. Press the dough evenly into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

  • Ensure peanut butter does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
  • Adjust water if the dough is too dry or too wet.
  • These bars are a treat and should be given in moderation.
