Easy homemade dog biscuits with carrot and peanut butter.

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup grated carrot
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
  3. Add the grated carrot, peanut butter, and egg to the dry ingredients.
  4. Gradually add the water, mixing until a stiff dough forms.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  6. Cut out biscuits using a cookie cutter.
  7. Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
  9. Let the biscuits cool completely before serving to your dog.

Notes

  • Ensure your peanut butter does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
  • Store cooled biscuits in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
