- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup grated carrot
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 egg
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
- Add the grated carrot, peanut butter, and egg to the dry ingredients.
- Gradually add the water, mixing until a stiff dough forms.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut out biscuits using a cookie cutter.
- Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Let the biscuits cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Ensure your peanut butter does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
- Store cooled biscuits in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
