- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup broccoli, finely chopped or pureed
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, chopped broccoli, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add the olive oil and water to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a stiff dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water, one teaspoon at a time. If it’s too sticky, add a little more flour.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- Cut out biscuits using a cookie cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Let the biscuits cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Store cooled biscuits in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- You can substitute whole wheat flour with oat flour or brown rice flour for dogs with sensitivities.
- Ensure the broccoli is finely chopped or pureed to make it easier for your dog to digest.
