- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup finely chopped zucchini
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup water
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked brown rice, chopped carrots, chopped zucchini, and beaten egg.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into a loaf pan.
- Pour the water over the top of the loaf.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the loaf is cooked through and firm.
- Let the loaf cool completely before slicing and serving to your dog.
Notes
- Store any leftover loaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- You can substitute other dog-safe vegetables like peas or green beans for the carrots or zucchini.
