Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat flour (or whole wheat flour)

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped finely

  • 1 large egg

  • ½ cup water or low-sodium chicken broth

  • Optional: 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for fresh breath)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Cook and chop bacon. Allow it to cool completely.

  • Mix flour, cheese, and parsley in a large bowl.

  • Whisk egg, then add it to the dry mix. Slowly stir in water or broth.

  • Fold in chopped bacon until dough forms.

  • Roll out dough on a floured surface to ¼-inch thick.

  • Cut into shapes with cookie cutters (bones, hearts, paws).

  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.

 

  • Cool completely on a wire rack before serving or storing.
