- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and cinnamon.
- Add the unsweetened applesauce, water, and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a stiff dough forms.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut into desired bar shapes.
- Place the bars on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Let the bars cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Store cooled bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Adjust water amount if dough is too dry or too wet.
