A simple and healthy apple cake recipe for your dog.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup grated apple

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a small cake pan.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the applesauce, oil, water, and egg.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in the grated apple.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
