Simple, healthy cookies for your dog made with apples and oats.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
  3. Add the unsweetened applesauce, water, and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix until a stiff dough forms.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  6. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters.
  7. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
  9. Let the cookies cool completely before serving to your dog.
